It really makes me feel even more gratitude toward the people who are coming though, so I guess there's that.

It's beyond frustrating. Getting people to RSVP for our EParty was a task in itself and all they had to do was pick up the phone and call. I cannot imagine what it's going to be like getting people to fill out the response card and mailing it back to us.

I'm sorry. That really stinks. I am worried as well, we just sent the invites out and I am concerned we will not reach the minimum of 150. I am also getting married at Lombardi's on the Sound, so just wanted to say hello as well. Hopefully people will bring dates!

I'm so sorry! It is possible that they will lower your minimum for you - my sister had a minimum of 120 and they only made her pay for the 109 yesses. Have you talked to them about it?
That is very disappointing. You don't want to be paying for food that isn't eaten and friends that didn't make an effort to come. I wish you all the best and hope that LOTS lets you lower your minimum and/or all of those RSVPs you haven't gotten are yes!

Maybe ask your parents and in-laws to invite their close friends and a few more distant relatives? Hopefully you can get close to your minimum, and the venue will let it slide? Definitely make sure your friends know they can bring a plus 1.

I know, it's pretty sad. Kind of makes me feel like we have no friends haha.
Girl, I know the feeling. My shower was on saturday, and out of my 12 college girlfriends, on 3 showed up. I felt terrible but honestly, this was the last straw for me with them. They are not worth my time. Sad, but time and circumstances will test your relationships - weeding out the weak ones and strengthening the ones that matter. Focus on your loved ones who will be there and try your best to not let the others bother you.

we are in the same boat! our rsvp date is fast approaching and i dont think even half of the people has responded yet! I try not to go to crazy over it until our rsvp date actually hits and i go on a WHY HAVENT YOU REPLIED rampage. for now i am still trying to have hope in humanity loll

I hear ya....we sent out Save the Dates months ago...and people still haven't RSVP (my wedding 5/11)...and people are just telling me now that they can't go. We have a 175 min and we are going to be under that and now have to pay for 175. If I would of know that some people were going to decline that I would've invited more.... :(

so sorry to hear that.I dont think people realize how much it hurts when they decline without an explanation.. i got my first no tonight and i was upset too...did u meet ur minimum at least?
