So disappointed with BM (long)

So I asked 3 people to be my bridesmaids. I sent them all a really cute card that I made. The first 2 called screaming and yelling so excited. number 3 never called.

She lives upstate..so i figured I would call to see if she got it.

I have left 4 messages for her in the past 2 weeks.

And e-mailed her too,

No response.

Nothing ~ not a call, an e-mail, or even an RSVP to my engaement party (wich is saturday!!!!).

I think I have given up...

at this point do I just assume she does not want to be in the wedding and at this point do I even want her in it?

My engagement party is Saturday where I plan on announcing the wedding party...what do I do as far as BM #3?

I'm so sad... and disspointed.

Any advice?

I'm sorry to hear that... avoidance is not how she should be handling this...

I don't think I'd want her in my bridal party unless she has a really good excuse for not getting back to you...

THanks, I just feel like I really was close with her. We lived together in college for 3 years, and visit each other at least once a year. It hurts

if you really are close, i'd give her the benefit of the doubt...for now.

maybe something major is going on in her life right now that she's not ready to speak to you about...or maybe she can't/doesn't want to be in the party for money or other reasons and she's trying to muster up the courage to let you know...

however, if she's already hard to be in touch with this early on in the game, maybe it's better you know now before it's official...

He thinks it is time to ask someone else. What do you think? Should I wait a while?

I would call her another time or two and ask her straight out whats up or if she wants to me a part of it...maybe she has a good answer ya know? Maybe she does want to..Hear her out...if she does not call you by say Friday and your engagement party comes and goes, then by all means I would say replace her, there is something more going on....Good LUCK!
