So done with Macy's . . .

So done with Macy's . . .

If any of you ladies bought your gowns there, good luck dealing with them. I was happy up until my 2nd fitting yesterday. Now I'm just fed up. They promised to add straps to my dress with the beading to match what was on the gown. It wasn't done. It looked like two Ace Bandages were draped over my shoulders.

They were being added to cover my tattoo on my back (Grandma is a bit insane). They assured me back in December that it was not a problem and it would never look like an add on. I'm basically having a black tie wedding and my dress looked like I payed 25cents for it.

So, today I called and told them to take them off. They were not what I wanted and I'm not happy. I had to go with my MOH to get hair extensions to put in my hair to cover the tattoo. This is what I should of done in the first place. It cost me a whole $80 for them instead of $400+ for the extra material and 'work' they did to my gown.

I've had it. :steamblowingoutearsicon:

Aw, sorry for the aggravation. Sounds like it was a blessing in disguise though...sounds like it worked out better. Hair extensions will probably work out better and your hair will look gorgeous too...and like you said, for less money!

The part that makes me angry is that we already paid them for the extra fabric and the 'work' and it doesn't sound like they plan on refunding us for our aggravation.

Ohh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that you had already paid!! I certainly don't blame you being aggravated. Can you try and least get them to refund you part of...explain that they didn't complete the work to your satisfaction? Try and speak with a manager. That's frustrating...

That suckss you had a bad seamstress. I would have them refund at least part of the money.

I think I'm going to send my mom in there. When I get angry, I have trouble telling the person I'm actually angry at off. I have to be really pushed (like they have to be screaming at me to start with - giving me reason to explode). My mom however, has no qualms with screaming at them.

You can also have your makeup artist cover the tattoo...(Im sure you know this and I am stating the obvious in an effort to make you feel better

Thanks. We tried. It still shows. It's mostly dark colors.
