only 4 1/2 months to go and I've been working so much, I don't have time for anything ! I don't have invatations, limo, video, hair, veil, my dress came out terrible ( I have to have the guy fix it or give me my $ back, I know that won't happen) We haven't even decided on a florist yet. We need favors, table cards, gifts for the bridal party & parents, everything. Everyone I know is always so busy so I'm doing everything myself. I just wander around florists, invatation stores, wherever and I can't make a decision. I guess I need to stop complaining and do something. I just had to get it out and complain a little, sorry. Anyone else feel like it's never going to get done?

dont worry you'll do it...don't look at the overall picture of what you have left to do because it can become overwhelming and that is what will cause you to stress and take away your motivation...Just make a list and handle one thing at a time. I would say take care of limo, florist and video first. Maybe make appointments for everything in one week do limo's one day, florist the other and video another day...that alone will take care of alot and take away alot of stress, or even if you do it within the next few weeks instead of all in a week it will help. Read reviews on here and narrow down your choices for each vendor. Then look online for invitations, check mygatsby.com alot of people use them and other places others can recommend...Think of your color scheme or theme of your wedding and narrow down your invitation choices. Call up make up and hair vendors and set up trials, look at vendors girls on here have used, look at their make up trials and see which ones you like best to narrow down your choices.

The rest of the things such as bp gifts, parents gifts and place cards you can do when its closer to the wedding you have time...The dress dont worry, i am sure after its altered it will fit just fine and when you go in there again look at veils. You have time to do these things just manage your time and do as much as you can in the time you are free. Good luck

yeah you'll drive yourself crazy...just put things in order of importance such as major vendors that need to be booked more in advance than the other things and just think of crossing each thing off the list. You'll be surprised how much you can get done in even just a week or two...good luck and no problem

Hey date twin! Don't stress too much. I have a lot left to do as well. We haven't even begun to think about limos, I only have a couple of small gifts for the maids & FH hasn't even started on the guys. Our invitations are in, but they're sitting in a closet waiting for me to get the time to start addressing & stuffing (actually, I have to get direction cards & some more addresses first). I think I have an idea what I'm doing for my hair, but I don't get my veil & headpiece for 2 more weeks so I can't schedule anything until then.

See? You're not alone. I'm sure we'll both get everything figured out!

Don't worry, you'll be fine. A lot of people exaggerate things like, you never get this, get that, they are all booked..blah blah blah....guess what when we called a vendor they are available.

I don't have my invites or favors yet either. Not sure about the veil or headpiece, still need to get limos.

Make a list and prioritize, then tackle one item at a time.
Use the boards to get recommendations, and then make appointments.

You definitely haver enough time. One of my friends just got engaged and is now getting married the first week of September. Within the last two weeks, she has picked a RH, dress, and photo/video. A lot of the things you listed I do not even have done yet and I am getting married in 2.5 months. Everything will get done. Take a deep breath.
