They just keep letting people join!! I can never find parking. I have to drive around the lot like 5 times (and its pretty big).
Half the time I have to wait for a treadmill or machines.
People are always screaming on their cell phones.
There's always 12 year olds running around.
I never had this problem at my old gym...
I'm trying to decide if its worth the $$$ to join a new gym. Planet fitness scuks..but its only $20 a month. Anywhere else I go Ill be paying much more, plus a start up fee.
I might just go back to synergy. maybe they'll waive the start up fee or...reduce it.
Can anyone reccomend thier gym near east meadow/levittown area?

Wow, that *****!!! This time of the year is always the worst because of all the New Years Resolutions. I bet things will get better by the end of the month! *fingers crossed*

i feel your pain!!!!!
i belong to the PF in bay shore and the ONLY time i can go is b4 work at 6am...otherwise there's no where to park and no machines!
but for 10 bucks a month (i went to the cheap-o plan) i **** it up...was paying like 40 at armatraj...

Thats what I thought in January...then Febuary came...and it was just as crowded.

OMG there were 2 girls there last week who were barely dressed and just annoying the crap out of me!
I go to a brand new one (rocky point) it opened like 3 weeks ago. I am praying people start giving up and stop coming soon so it dies down

were probably thinking of the same 2 girls. Sitting on the windo ledge with their super high side pony's flirting with 15 year olds....

I go to Xsport in Roosevelt Field. Nicest gym I've ever been too. Parking can be a pain, depending on the time you go, but I've never had to wait for a machine. You can pay month to month - no contract.

I only pay 10 bucks a month at planet fitness - maybe if u went a little bit later rather than straight from work I find its better like 630 pm or later...

Synergy is a really good gym just not during 'rush hour' you'll have about the same problems....I use to work at the one in baldwin and bw 5 to 8 is was Packed! I wish I knew people at the levittown one, Id see what I could do for the signup fee, sorry
