So FH and I ended up in a lesbian bar on Sunrise Highway yesterday afternoon...
FH and I took a long drive yesterday and we decided to stop somewhere for a beer. He had to pee really badly so we pull up to this bar and there's a few women outside. We don't think much of it and go inside. He tells me to get him a Guinness and he heads off to the bathroom.
I'm sitting at the bar, order us a couple of Guinness, and I'm looking around...place is decorated for Halloween, that's cool. All women though, that's a little different. And then I'm looking around...rainbow flags, some feminist posters...I'm like 'ohhhhhhhh okay'
FH comes back from the loo and he's like 'I know'
Don't get me wrong, I've had quite a few nights at Meow Mix (R.I.P.) and a couple of leather bars in the city...it was just so random that the one place we stop at for him to take a wiz and order some beer would be a lesbian joint.
We ended up staying for awhile because the beer was good and the game was on.
And no, I wasn't wearing my Docs. But I totally thought to myself 'Barb is gonna have a field day with this one'...and that's why I posted it!![]()
