my laptop has a BAD virus!!!!! BestBuy wants $200 to fix it!!!!!!


any (free) or cheap solutions are really appreciated. I truly hate using FH's old Gateway desktop PC.

I have used them on a few occasions ti get rid of viruses.

Basically you go to the site and sign up. They have forums for you to post that you have a virus. It might take a few days for you to follow the instructions, someone to review it and help with a fix.

But they are GREAT and trustworthy. The forum people KNOW what they are doing. The first thing they will have you do is download some thing that does a scan of the computer, then they willl have you post the results.
