so frustrated!!!!

how hard is it to mark a check on the response card and put it in the mailbox?? the stamp is already provided for you. are you that lazy? uggh. my RSVP date was the 17th and 25 people still havent responded. 1 went as far as to say 'i didnt think i had to respond' am i a mind reader?? 3 weeks exactly and i'm going out of my mind!!

when should i start calling people?

I would start calling tomorrow. you don't want to keep worrying till the last minute who exactly is coming or not.

Can you have family members do the leg work for you? You have enough to worry about. Definitely start getting answers ASAP. Good luck!

I know with my RH then want the final head count two weeks before so I would start calling asap/...maybe this is something you can get some help with!!!

start calling asap... each person will keep you on the phone at least half hr.

I sent out an email to get updated address's and half of the people didnt answer, so i had to call and what I found out is that They all want to talk to you and hear the details..You'll find yourself repeating the same story to each person.

Dont waste time!

I guess when you don't know what it's like to plan a wedding, you just place the invitation somewhere and forget to look at it again... so call it rude or simply thoughtless - either way, it's frustrating to the bride!!

If (or should I say when) I have people who don't respond by the reply-by date, I really want to just call them up and say 'um... you haven't responded yet, so I am going to save you the trouble - you're NOT COMING!!!!!!!'

ITA.... even my FMIL told one guest they can respond on Monday! That's when I'm giving my count to the RH w/ the check!

It's actually harder than you think......

Tomorrow will be a week after your RSVP date, so I'd start calling then. Some people might have just put them in the mail late, and then there are those who just completely forget to send it. Track them down, sorry but it's the only way to do it.
