Two of my glucose tests came back positive... they did the three hour and I was fine... Dont work yourself up! Good Luck!

If it makes you feel any better, my doctor just told me on Thursday that only 1 out of every 10 people who get a + on the 1 hour will get a + on the 3 hour (sorry Deb, I know those odds don't help YOU ).

Stay positive. The worst that will happen is that you and Debbie will have battle stories to trade.

I do my one hour on 7/31, so who know... I may be joining you...

Oh Stacey, how I feel your pain! How did you do on the 1 hour, did you get nauseous and feel like you were going to pass out? If yes, make sure somebody goes with you because the 3 hour one is a stronger dose!

Not for nothing, but they really have to come up with a better way to test. How the heLL do they expect anyone to go 10-12 w/o food, then another 3 while the test is going on -- oh and NOT DRINK WATER -- and NOT PASS OUT OR NOT HAVE A HIGH SUGAR LEVEL??????? Especially FIRST THING IN THE MORNING!!!!!!!!!!! They're out of their minds, I tell ya! (Ok, my vent is over now)

I'll be crossing my fingers and hope you're not following in my footsteps, although I have to tell you that it's not as bad as everyone makes it seem. You will be monitored by diet first and have to watch your levels everyday -- mine have been totally wacky, more low then high, so go figure!

As for the low placentas -- I hope I follow in yours and JennRenee's and mine has done the move!!! I'll find out on Friday!!!!! That's all I need, GD and a low placenta in the final 8 weeks!

Thanks Deb How are they monitering the size of your bear cub? I know that there is a risk of a larger baby with GD so I was curious about that
