I am so with - I may forgive a lot of people for the crap they have done to me in the past but i'd be lying if I said I could ever forget what they did and if something repeats itself, you can be damn sure I'm going to bring the past up again.

I don't know exactly what you're going through but trsut me I know how you feel

I tell people all the time that I'll forgive but won't forget. That's natural so don't eat yourself up about it...

I totally feel you girl. Sometimes you just have to let it go. A similar situation happened to me a few years back.

I was BF with this girl we were supposed to be Maid of Honors in each others weddings... We were friends for years... then all of a sudden things changed... she kept stabbing me in the back trying to cause drama between mutual friends and even my FH. Then after forgiving her 2 3 even 4 times i said F**k it and never looked back... Sometimes you can only forgive as much as you can handle emotionally and no more.

i am going to see her for the first time in 3 years this October at a friends wedding. I dont know how im gonna react to seeing her... but i do know that im not going to ever go back to being her friend again.

As you said life goes on and sometimes you are just better off with out someone in your life, it will hurt especially if you were close.. and you do think about that person a lot bc you cared about them but just think about how your better off with out them
