i dont know if anyone posted a thread like this but i thought it would be cute...so how did you and dh meet..and what was your first impression... : i met fh in math class in 10th grade..he was 18..and got left back..(..he was a baaaaad boy back then..trust me he is smarter than smart!) he came up to me to borrow my notebook for notes and i was scared of him..i said no..and hes like oh what am i gonna steal it? i was so intimidated that i let him..but we became friends after that..were friends for 10 years and just stayed phone friends..but then we got together and started dating..we have been together ever since...never thought i would marry him..but i couldnt be happier...FATE!!

Mine is super corny also... but I'm glad it is!

We met in elementary school ( I remember him since Kindergarten, he doesn't remember me til 4th grade~) We would hang out during the summers since we lived around the block from eachother. Anyway... we dated in HS and College and now we are getting through Grad School together. And we STILL live right around the block from eachother!!!

We met at a halloween party. (technically) The two groups of friends started talking (insert total dig on my FH because he actually liked my sister first---not insulted because she's like a size one, gorgeous and was in this tiny geenie costume ) So, by the end of the night its just he and I talking. I excuse myself to the ladies room and when I come out, he and his friends were completely gone. I thought I got completely stood up! The next day, I run to the grocery store (a good half hour from the party) and as I'm walking in the store, this other guy is walking in from the other side of the parking lot, but he's like staring at me. Not checking me out, but STARING. So, I make sure to go the opposite direction of him inside until we meet up in the cheese aisle (my favorite food) and he asked if I was at the party the night before (funny thing was was that he was online to check out but realized that he had forgotten bagels so we almost never remet!) Winds up the brownies were laised which is friend started having a reaction to so she climbs over the fence in the backyard and they all left to find her/drive her home. Now we serve brownies at all of our halloween parties!

We also met on match.com. I'd like to say it was love at first sight but I was hungover from celebrating my bday in the city the night before and was sooo sick on our dinner date. I almost canceled but felt a need to go because our first phone conversation lasted 4 and a half hours. We joke about it now because we both thought the other was totally disinterested! But we spoke the following week and made plans to go on a Saturday date to the North Fork wineries. Well, that date sealed the deal for both of us and we've been together ever since.

I have said my story many times here before but what's one more time?

I met FH on JDate.com. He said he liked SU sports so I IM'd him and said I had gone there. After a few minutes of chatting, we realized we had lived in the same dorm and I jokingly said it would have been funny if we hooked up (back in 1988). So he tells me to get out my freshman face book and look him up by page #. Mind you, I didn't know his name as we had screen names on JDatebut when I realized who he was, I almost wet myself. I DID know him and we DID hook up. We met at a fraternity party 15 and a half years before at Syracuse University. We both had changed in our looks so much that we didnt recognize each other from our JDate pictures. We basically met to satisfy a curiosity and have been together ever since. FH was the second guy I ever kissed in my life as I had only kissed (or been with ) one other guy before him. Mind you, FH and I didn't 'seal the deal' so to speak until we met this time around. I made him wait 15 and a half years for me. It was worth waiting for!!!

Funny story - when I told my coworkers that I met him online - they assumed 'on line' - as in waiting on line for the register at COSTCO. It took me a year to straighten that out!

We worked together but I didn't know him, I just saw him around. He knew who I was because I was new to the office. I just broke up with my boyfriend and I was out with a few friends (at a bar) when I saw him. I had had a few drinks so I went up to him asked him if he worked at my company and he said Yes Kim'. I was shicked that he knew my name but after that we talked and started dating.

I've got a different one. I graduated from ASU and moved back to NY. My best friend and I were going to get an apt together. She was dating this guy who really liked her at the time so he came with us to look for the apt. We saw a brand new house in Lindenhurst with 2 apartments. We didn't have the $$ at the time to leave a deposit and we knew it would end up getting taken soon so we thought we would not get it. This guy went back afterward and left the deposit for us!(we never would have lived there if it wasn't for him) A while later my friend and i had to move some bigger stuff in the house because she was going on a business trip. We pulled up and this tall handsome guy came out of the apt upstairs to help us unload the truck. My friend actually said look at him he's totally your type(which he was) We ended up moving in a couple of weeks later the neighbor became my boyfirend and 3 years later my fiance. We are getting married in June. It was definitely fate!

I was in a diner w/my best friend (MOH) after a long night of drinking, making faces in the window to those passing by, including my FH and his best friend. Apparantly, my stupid faces convinced them to come in, have a very early breakfast (5am) with us, and we have been together ever since!

We met at Coco's!!! hahah, on the dance floor. HOW ROMATIC!! The next day, he took me to see Remember the Titians at the movies. I went back to college in CT that weekend and he came up to see me every weekend until I graduated (we met when I was a Junior)....and its been history ever since!
