So how is it that so many of you are enjoying

Planning your wedding. I need to know. I hate planning this wedding with all the road blocks and obstacles I am going through. Im losing it today

I enjoyed it until my FMIL got involved...

The best thing I can tell you, which has helped me, is something my Matron of Honor told me. Ten or twenty years from now you will not remember what the CPs look like, what your card box looked like, or even most of the people at your wedding. What you WILL remember is the look on your FHs face when he sees you for the first time, the way you felt as you placed your wedding bands on one another, and how you felt on top of the world when you did your first dance. Hope that helps. It's not about the small things so just let them go. Everythign is NOT going to be perfect, but it will seem that way to you in the long run because it's the day you married your best friend.

Take a deep breath, slowly let it out.
Relax.
Make a list of what still has to be done.
Make a list of what has been done.
Relax.

Take a day off from planning if that would make you feel better.

Remember, there are lots of things that you cannot control. Don't sweat the small stuff.
It will all come together.

I agree!!!! I need to put all of this in perspective. I broke down in front one of my co-workers and she said this day is about you and FH and thats all that matters. Shes right. I cant wait to be standing at the altar saying our vows.

I enjoy it, but would enjoy it much more if we weren't broke as a joke!

awww...that just gave me the chills! WELL SAID!!

Glad I could help a little. It has helped me to have a best friend who has been married for 25 years. We're broke as could be, my FMIL forgets she had her own wedding and is taking over mine, and I can't make simple decisions. But in the long run, I'm marrying HIM! Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can ruin that, especially the small details that won't be remembered years from now.

I completely understand. It was fun until I realized these people actually want me to pay them real money Then I was scared as hell. I've been trying to calm down by doing one thing every day instead of trying to do a lot in one day. It seems to be helping a little.

I can totally feel your pain!
I've been having a hard time with the whole wedding planning thing too!
I just keep trying to tell myself that it'll all come together, and when i get really really upset, i think back to the moment that my FH proposed....never fails to make me smile!

I was enjoying it for a while but now it's all stress!!!

OK I swear maybe it is just today or maybe it is everything else but I was going through the same thing today! I swear I was calling my FH wondering if we should just elope and everything but after reading everyones posts here it really does help.

I really haven't enjoyed any of it! Except going to Ireland to pick out a RH... but it's pretty much been down hill from there!
