I am every week, saturday night at 4:30, sunday morning is the only day DH and I can wake up with each other, and I don't want a guilty thought on my mind

When I was in college, I attended Friday night Shabbat services almost every week. It was more of a social thing in college - we had dinner, hung out after, etc. When I was still living with my parents, I went less, b/c they don't go that much and I got home too late on Friday nights. Now that I'm married, the synagogues near me start services too early on Friday night, so DH can't get home on time. We keep saying we're going to go on Saturday morning, but it never happens. I ALWAYS go for the holidays. I like going, just need to find more time to go.

When I was younger I went every week. And I didn't mind because I had a crush on this guy in my sunday school class. Then as I got older I used to go for just holidays, but lately I don't go at all. One reason is I've been more agnostic lately, and the other reason is that my dad is a minister (the best I've ever heard) and he doesn't have a church anymore (but still works for the American Baptist Church), so I've had a hard time finding a minister I like. I saw one that had a sermon pretty much asking for money.

I made a deal with my dad, I told him if he gets a church, I'll attend again. (He hates his job, and was happier as a minister)

We try to go to churhc every week, but it usually ends up being 2-3x...we SAY we're going to synagogue, but FH gets home too late on firdays and saturdays are rough..we're working on it thought
