Do I give people before I respond 'NO' for them?????
(FYI - my RSVP date was Aug.22 wedding is in 3 weeks tomorrow)

GIRL............I was calling people the day after our RSVP date. I asked my MIL each day if she'd called people on her list as well.

Oh hun, i almost had a breakdown this week cause i was like how am i supposed to finish everything when i don't even know who's coming- it was my first bridal stress out.
i've been having my mother track people down from her list, my list is all set and FI's list has about 12 no reponses but they're from far away so we're not worried that they'd just show up. i sent alot of my family and friends a friendly e-mail asking them to respond by email if they haven't already sent in the response. Good luck hun- 3weeks-ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

I would use this weekend to sit down and make some phone calls. Since it's Labor Day they might be going away, so leave a message. If you don't hear back by Tues/Weds then I'd put them down as a no.

But I would tell them that if you don't get a response by Wednesday that you are putting them down as a no. Let them know this way they don't just show up.
