Because my FH says a have tweezed them too much and I have almost none left. So I am 1 week into growing them in (he hid my tweezer on me! ) and I am completely miserable! Any advice to make it look a little better? I hear it takes a good 4 weeks to grow in completely so you can start over!

Re: So I am growing in my eyebrows!
I just read an article about that somewhere--either Glamour, Allure, or Shape...Anyway, they said to hide strays with concealer and ligh eyeshadow, and draw in lightly or use sark eyeshadow to fill in the brows when you are growing out. Good luck!

I had to go through the same thing a while ago. It wasn't so bad, because I kept it neat. I still plucked the strays, but left the main area alone.

Ive done it too. I think revlon makes a powder with a stiff brush that worked wonders for me.

I just did that too. I still plucked some that were really far down. I used an eyebrow pencil to shade them in a little where the new hairs were growing in.

I'm right there with you girls!
I went 3 weeks ago to my usual place and a different person did them. I walked out with half my eyebrows! LOL!! I can laugh about it now because they have grown in a lot. I pluck the strays and color in the brow with a light-medium eyeshadow. Hopefully they will be fully grown in by Sept. 4!

I have been growing mine in for 4 months now and I look like a gorilla! But from all the years of wxing they still havent grown in enough... ugh
In a month or so, I hope to have beautiful shaped eyebrows.
It's frustrating, but you can do it!

Re: So I am growing in my eyebrows!
i'm a pluck-aholic, so I can't imagine if DH hid my tweezers on me.
i tried to grow mine out before my wedding, but they were a little uneven the way they ended up. i should have gotten professional help!

I did the samething last October.
My FI has hide the tweezers on me countless times in our 6 years of being together.
Then I went to my make-up trial with Jacqueline Nicole and she said I was ruining my eyebrows. She is the person who broke my habit.
I grew them out and now she shapes them. I tweeze every once in a while, but I have recovered. I am not longer a compulsive tweezer!!!!

Re: So I am growing in my eyebrows!
my sister had someone wax her eyebrows and they ended up leaving her with one full eyebrow and one half an eyebrow. it took about -8 weeks before they looked somewhat normal again.
I've gone through the same thing. I started the process in stages in January 2003, but then felt the need to clean them up mid way through. They were looking better at that point, but not even.
Now I'm tying to avoid tweezing at all to make sure I get them even. I only tweeze the really low ones or very center ones.
But now I have issues where some hairs are growing in funny and I just pray they fix themselves by the wedding.
As an admitted overtweezer, I will say this -- it takes me half the time to get ready as it used to because I'm not over examining every hair in my eyebrows.
Ahhh...the trials and tribulations of being a beautiful bride!!!
