So I check out...

So I check out...

CLM last night with my mom. We both loved it and fell in love with Nick. He was so nice he was giving us advice on how to deal with other vendors and how he doesn't get commison for this sell the place should sell it's self. He was wonderful and answered all my quetions before I even asked them. I took alot of pics and love the outside cocktail area.

I feel that you get a good amount of food for what you are paying for. He said pp it would be 100$ for a Sunday night before Memorial Day weekend in 2009. He said it is more than a normal Sunday since it is a holiday the next day and it is kinda like a Saturday since no one has work the next day.

The only thing is I wish the rooms were done up. But I am most likely going on Feb 7th for the taste testing and will see it all set up then. Also the only other thing that concerend me was the bridal suites- did they seem too small? Or was it just me??

Oh and I loved both rooms- the upstairs and the downstairs. But I would need 175 for the bottom room and 150 for the upstairs room...Not too bad!!

We thought the bridal suite was a little small too. Me and FH actually walked into the bathroom thinking it would be another room

But the place is gorgeous. The rooms werent set up either when we went, so we had a hard time figuring out how the downstairs room would look set up. I absolutely LOVE all the windows and the high ceiling!

We decided not to book there only because we are having a March wedding now, and it just doesnt pay for us to have a wedding on the water when its going to be cold, we cant use the outdoor area or arrive by yacht

Good luck....keep us updated if you book!!!

Re: So I check out...

Yeah I know what you mean about booking a place like CLM in March. It is beautiful but the weather might be a problem.

I know my mom and I walked straight into the bathroom in the bridal suite, thinking it as another room as well

Yeah the only concern I have now with May 24th (Sunday before Memorial Day) is I am not going to have to much of a break with $$$ pp. It was originally 85$ a sunday in 2009. But since it is kinda like a sat it is going to be 100$ pp plus tax and gratuity and an additional $300 for maitre de fee??!!

SO that is 128.18$ pp with about 175-180 people oh no close to 25,000$ hall

what prices have you been recieving so far??
