So I checked out MDR
And I actually wasn't blown away like I thought I would be. The view was amazing and I'm sure at night it's beautiful with the bridges all lit up. The staff was fantastic. The guy who took us around (Orzo was his last name, I'm blanking on his first) was fantastic. He was friendly, explained everything in detail and was so helpful. When we told him that this was the first place we were looking at I think he knew we were going to book but he still went through everything and even checked if he had our date open. The room was beautiful and the bridal suite was a nice size but I just didn't love it. Aside from the little dock and the gazebo there really aren't many places to take pictures outside which I didn't like. It just wasn't my thing. My mom said that finding the right place will be like finding the right dress, I'll know it once I'm there and MDR just wasn't it. It was a good place to start the search though. Other places have a lot to live up to after seeing what they offered there lol My next stops are Westbury Manor and Jericho Terrace.
