my cousin is getting married september 6th!!! that is a month before me..... we have a huge family a lot from out of town so who's wedding do they choose?
they just got engaged a month ago!!!!! would you be mad????

that's one of those sticky situations.
Is there a reason they are getting married so quickly? Is there a special signficance to their wedding date?
Did you send out your STDs yet? If not I'd make sure to get them out before you cousin does.

Yeah, I would be mad. Her wedding is less than 5 months away, maybe she's having a small wedding. Definately send your invites out early.

and basing your wedding date on when your lease is up is Bull***! Don't worry, even if she does pullit together in that short a time it can't possibly be as nice as yours will be. And she'll probably get screwed by all of her vendors for booking so late.

I'd be a lil upset if it meant people having to choose because of traveling. And if she realizes this! But if people are already aware of yours and said they would come to yours, she may be screwing herself!

hopefully since your STDs went out and you have been planning this for so long the ones that chose to go to one or the other will chose yours and just send her a gift in the mail - thats the only thing i can imagine - definately get those invites out early as well - its tough but im sure the people that really want to be there will find a way

Honestly, if it were me, I'd be very upset. Dont know what advice to offer though....it stinks.
I remember a situation when my sister got married. My sister got engaged and married within 4 months. The only day they could do it happened to fall exactly 3 weeks before my cousins wedding. My sister called my cousin, explained the situation, and asked if she was ok with it. My cousin said she didnt mind, but who knows if she really did or not.
