So, I going to have a impacted wisdon tooth removed next Friday and I am really nervous! The dentist won't finish my crown until this is done!

dont worry! I didnt have any pain... and they were all impacted and i was put under... just do everything the doc suggests and take your pain meds even if you feel better!!!!! good luck! you will be fine and it is for the better!

I had all of my impated wisdom teeth removed when I was 15. I had a general anesthetic and was nauseous from it (though not everyone gets that way I should say) and slightly black and blue after. But I wasn't in much pain really. You should be fine. If you dont get them out, all of your teeth can shift and throw off your jaw.

FYI - if you smoke, I suggest you stop until you heal completely. Dry socket is not fun at all.

I had one taken out in August. It was buried above the rest of my teeth with only a little part jutting out. I had sweet air and novacaine, and while it was not pleasant, it wasn't horrible either. Good luck! You'll be fine!
