for a leave-replacement position in Secondary Ed. I got asked to do a demo lesson tomorrow morning, and I feel so 'out of shape' Sounds strange, I know.. but I haven't had ONE call all summer about jobs, so they kind of caught me off guard, but in a good way. I'm just so nervous, since I just came off of a year of teaching HS, and now this position is a MS. I just hope I accomplish what I set out to do... AHHH!
I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow morning.. I just want it over with. I need sleep!

I actually just got home.... it's been a long morning. I don't want to jinx it by being too positive, but I do think it went well. (I usually think I bombed it.. so I'm a little surprised that I have a little bit of confidence in me anymore ) They only brought in 4 people for interviews/ demos.. .. the principal sounded confident and very positive... there's just one person left to demo after me this afternoon.
They had me do a writing sample too... I swear, you would think by now I would have a great answer but still I always feel I could've written something better. We shall see.. I should here soon either way.

This is very exciting for you. I have been trying to get a teaching job in ESL. It has been the most frustrating and depressing thing. I never made it to the demo lesson in my interviews. But I know what you mean about the writing samples. What a pain in the A$$! The whole job search and interview process is a pain in the A$$!
