I got my invites from Michaels! It's a DIY project but I would rather do that then spend $1300 for something I got for $100 for 120 invites!!

I got my invites from cardsandpockets.com. I paid about $240 for 100 of the metallic finish square pocket folds, and it included all of the pre cut inserts, the mat, metallic rsvp envelopes and the outer envelope.

I used 'her'.

With everything (all cards, inner envelopes, all addressing- outer envelope, return address, inner envelope, and RSVP envelope) for 140 invites was about $680 or so. I didn't do anything fancy, and figured even if I did it as a DIY, I would A. never finish my licensing exams. B. Spend over $100 in ink alone. C. waste half of my time trying to get the cards/envelopes to align properly in the printer.

I did my tasting before I booked. I will be picking my menu in February for a May wedding... (the venue is supposed to call me)

Alterations they say start 6-8 weeks before your wedding...

hair/makeup - whenever you want! :)

Ask your RH... I asked mine last week and they told me I will do the tasting when i come in to pick the menu, etc 4-6 before the wedding

i just booked my tasting - a year after we booked but I wasn't worried b/c I'm sure our RH will have great food!

I got my invitations from her

I went for my alterations in Dec b/c i have sample dresses and i couldn't have them in the house anymore and they needed a decent amount of alterations

hair and MU - whenever but just be careful b/c they might get booked up quickly!

1. My friends got married at CHCC and they did their food tasting in April for their June wedding

2. Alterations you normally start about 4-5 weeks before the wedding

3. Cheap invites you can either DIY OR look around online. A friend of mine just got invites for about $250 on weddingpaperdiva.com or something along those lines...

Im getting married in july and hair and make-up is booked. You should really try to book someone because they get booked very fast. Alterations should be booked atleast 2-3 months ahead of time. Cheap invites 123print.com.....They have a beautiful selection and shipping is always free.

Invitations – I’m using “her” – I did a very fancy invite with all addressing services for about $750 (125 of them). You can definitely cut costs though and get them much cheaper and still get them from “her.”

Hair/Makeup – I booked makeup already. Didn’t do hair yet because my headpiece won’t be in until April and I wanted to use it for trials so my hairstylist knows exactly what she’ll be working with day of.

Tasting – I’m not sure about this, but I know that with CHCC, you have to go to do a tasting while another event is going on because they don’t have a restaurant onsite so they can’t just prep food for you.

Alterations – I’d say start about 3 months before.

I believe they do your tasting a few months before? usually so you can pick the food you will want to have

You can go for a hair/make up trial whenever you want.. I say its better to go ealry so that you have time to find the right person and have it 100% the way you want it to look on your special day <3

Alterations they usually start like 3 months before.

Invites... Look at all places online.. or go to Michaels and DIY!
