Listen to your gut. Maybe deep down you know that even though he's nice it might not go anywhere?
I experienced that a few times and right before meeting DH I put off a 2nd date with someone who was nice, cute, etc. We did reschedule even though I wasn't into it. And it was really the WORST date ever.

I agree with Tracy .. as much as its easy for us to say 'go for it, give it a shot, etc' sometimes your gut feelings about things speak volumes.. Its probably so subconcious that you cannot really pinpoint WHY you are not into the date.. which is even more frustrating!
I hate to say it but if you were smitten with the guy and really 'feeling it', you'd have been on the phone calling him back by now ! (at least in all my years of dating fiascos, I always KNEW when I was forcing something as opposed to really being 'into'it)
but if you do call to confirm, keep an open mind - at the worst, you'll have a nite out on the town , perhaps dinner and drinks with a cute guy nonetheless

I'd say go with your gut, if you aren't into it right now, cut the strings. Good luck!

I also agree, give it a shot. At least have a good time even if it doesn't go nowhere.

Why do you think you're procrastinating? There must be some reason... something he said, something he's done?

Do you think maybe you are down about your nephew and not in the mood to 'act nice' for a date? Dates are tough. I wouldn't write him off yet! Maybe say you only have an hour or two free, so you can cut it short if you aren't having fun?

I think thats a part of it. And Fridays I am so tired... We made it for Friday because hes a cop and he was off Wed. Thurs and Friday this week. He also lives in Nyack and the middle ground is the city to meet. For the first date, I woudnt want him coming all the way here and me going all the way there. andi hate traveling in the city in bad weather- its supposed to rain tomorrow.. Honestly if we were goingout Sat id be ok.... It has nothing to do with what he said or did...who knows!
