That 'I know what I'm getting you for the wedddddinggg' (in a little kid voice) and he's like 'I have NO freakin idea what the 'protocol' is for that $hit' meaning....he has no idea WHAT to get me. What is the typical gift?

(btw...I know his gift to me is his vow to be my husband, for those who will say that)

I don't think I want jewlery!

we are just doing gifts during the HM like i am getting him a half day fishing trip and he is getting me a day at the spa - but we are both doing each gift so its like getting two gifts for one!!

traditionally i think it is supposed to be your jewelry for the wedding day. . . he bought me something to wear already. . . one of those diamond circles but there is NO WAY IN HELL i am wearing that on my wedding day SO i have been wearing it every day for the past year so when i DONT wear it on my wedding day i am going to say 'oh but i wear that every day' eek i am mean LOL

I want this too. FH and I already agreed to write a letter to each other the night before the wedding and have my MOH and his BM exchange them for us...but it would be nice if his came w/ some flowers...gotta tell my sis to work on him

like tilde said.,. i really just want some flowers with a heart felt card.. but iwhat girl would say no to jewlery.. but i think we decided nothing big.. since in april we celebrate our 5 year anniversary and i graduate from nursing school and we spoke about me getting a eternity diamond band anniversary band for those 2 things plus my brithday since well be tight for cash.. and we have alot of things in those few months leading to the wedding.. so wedding gift.. nothing huge.. maybe a pair of every day earings.

im getting FH a humador (cigar thingy) with cigars.. and if i can gather enough $$ i want to get a cigar roller for the wedding!

i do think i 'd like him to send me flowers, but we agreed that we're not getting each other gifts

Tilde, mention to him that you were reading a post on here from a recent 07 bride and tell him that her FH sent her flowers on the morning of their wedding and youthought that was the sweetest thing. I do that with FH a lot and it works (most of the time).
