what is everyone using in their BOks? What is the most inexpensive flowers but nice ones? I really like roses, that seems to be the easiest thing to go with?

Re: So I know nothing about flowers
I love flowers!! I am using tulips in my reception and during the ceremony I am using (hopefully depending on weather next early spring) Peonys and french anemones and possibly some gardenias and orchids. Im doing all white flowers. Roses are always available and tend to be a cheaper way to go. And you know they will look good! Go to martha Stewart online and she has a flwoer glossary somehwere on her page- I think in the weddings section.

Re: So I know nothing about flowers
if you have not booked a florist yet- I recommened visiting Flowers by Burton because they charge on quantity, not type of flower. But if you just use roses, def shop around for a florist as some may have better prices.

If you love roses, you are in luck! they are always in season and reasonably priced!
Burtons is a bargain for people who want more exotic stuff, so I agree with the comment above, that other florists may also be really competitively priced...
also surf around and look at different types of roses. They have so many breeds with different colors, petal shapes... Try knot.com's flower pictures... they literally have thousands. After looking at them for a while, you'll notice a trend in what style bo-k you like, what size, and what other flowers you may want...
