I'm really nervous about it. It's a sample, so I wanted to clean it before I alter it. The woman said since it's so simple she will list it as a bridesmaid dress and it will be about $60 instead of $200. I am just nervous about the beading. Should I be?

I agree with Anna- is this a reputable cleaner? Do they normally clean brides and bridesmaid dresses?
Then its nothing to worry about!

Yes, they are reputable. They were recommended to me by quite a few people. I'm just nervous because I have had my dress with me all along since it is a sample.

it should be fine - i would check it over completely when you pick it up.
I am still waiting for my dress to back from being preserved its getting to be a month all ready.

I totally understand...mine is a sample too! I was going to have it cleaned..it's not dirty or anything..but i just wanted it to be. It would have been almost $300 and I was too nervous...i decided not to bother.

I thought mine was going to be too! Since my dress is mermaid style with no crinoline, she wrote up the dress as a bridesmaid dress.
