So I started the Crest Whitestrips...

and I no doubt see a difference, but my teeth are so sensitive!!! I'm only on day 4. I don't think I am going to be able to finish.

Has anyone else used them and had the same thing happen? It's just my bottom teeth so I was thinking maybe I will continue to use them on the top.

That's exactly why I haven't used them and have crazy yellow teeth... my teeth are sensitive to begin with and I tried the strips years ago when they first came out and after two I couldnt' stand it!

I would just be careful.. I wouldn't want my top teeth to be 9 shades whiter than my bottoms

I asked my mom for you. She works at a dentist office.

She said to not use them everyday.
It won't make any difference in the treatment - try to use them every other day or even every 2 days and it should help.

Also you can try sensitive teeth toothpaste while you're doing the treatments.

Hey girl! Definitely don't use them everyday b/c you can get reallly sensitive. Try every other day or every 2 days and I'd give it a month...you should really see a difference. As I said I had more sensitivity after professional whitening and to be honest my friends that use the crest whitening strips have whiter teeth than me. Just be careful and dont use them everyday! hth

Yes! When I did it my teeth were sooooooo sensitive and I couldn't finish. Def take the advice of the other girls and do it every other day or every two days. That's what I'm going to do when I do it again in the future.

Don't only use them on the top!! You're teeth will be different colors!! But I've heard the sensitivity thing is pretty common.

thanks girls. I am definitely going to lay off them at least until the sensitivity goes away. And then I will go back and do them every 2 days.

I LOVE Crest White Strips... but through the several times that I have used them - I have noticed that I like the original 14 days ones the best. Since they arent as strong because they take longer to work, they dont hurt your teeth as much. But the results are just the same - even better in my opinion. Regardless, I have never been able to keep the strips on my bottom teeth. So I only have white top teeth. I rinse with peroxide to try and even them out! :)
