so i tried on my gown today...

and im not in love with it anymore

dont get me wrong i think its beautiful but i always go back and forth with that one and a mermaid style....

so girls, convinne me I made the right choice by going with a ballgown...i dont think im wearing a full slip anymore with it

maybe youll fall back in love w/ it! i went back and forth after i got mine too. sometimes i worry i should have gone with something more...'bride-y'.

I have definitely agonized over my dress decision!!! so you're not alone, but I have to say, I personally prefer a ballgown style over mermaid.....maybe just not having a full slip will be better with this dress if thats the look you want......it is gorgeous though!! don't regret your choice now....you will definitely fall back in love with it when your hair is all done and your wearing your jewelry and headpiece!!! you will be stunning!! My dress was supposed to be in today....but now its not going to be in until Monday! I wish I could go visit it b/c I want to make sure I'm still in love with it too!! Oh well I guess there's always next weekend!

Your dress is so beautiful!! Don't second guess yourself, I know this is hard not to do. In fact, I've been doing the same thing about my dress since I ordered it. It'll be here next week, and I'm praying that I still like it!!

That dress is stunning! I think it's normal to doubt your decision in your dress...there are always posts on here about that and I have also felt that way at times.

As far as convincing you that the ball gown was the best choice, I think it will make you feel more like a bride. Mermaid gowns are beautiful but I feel, and this is JMO, that you really look like a bride in a ball gown. You will be gorgeous in that dress! Don't fret!

It's gorgeous!!! But I think a lot of brides second guess their initial decisions as you get closer to the wedding & things start becoming 'real' - I know I have. But remember the reasons why you chose the gown and fell in love with it in the first place (and don't look at any other dresses)!

I can totally relate! I thought I wanted a mermaid gown from the beginning and so that was the only style dress I tried on and nothing was 'the' dress. Finally I expanded my horizons and went for a pretty A-line and I actually felt like a bride. You can wear a mermaid style anytime - a sexy form fit to someone else's wedding or to another fun party - but on your day you made the right choice - to be a real princess!
