and it was great. I woke up at 5:45...that was hard (its still dark)....but I feel great. I ran 4 miles and am so happy I have the rest of the day to do whatever I want. I am so used to working out at night so this was a refreshing change.
I dont know if I can do this every morning but on occasion its great.

That sounds great! I've never run and think I really have to step up my walking. Can someone tell me how to get started? I walk 3 miles most every day, but just feel stupid running. I'm leaving work at five to go the gym for cardio. I'll start there.
thanks!

I run in the morning too. Always have. I carry dog spray with me. It's got a clip on it so I clip it on to my shorts or between my shoulder blades on my bra. (I wear racer back sports bras so it's easy to hook it there.) You can get it at any bicycle store. Probably other places, but I know that you can get it there because that's where I get mine. It's a white bottle with red and blue writing. It's called HALT! I would not hestitate to use it in need, in case dog or person should attack.
