So I visited my gown sample today and took some pics....

But I probably should delete them soon! Wanna see? They're in my Dresses photo album...towards the end.

It was fun! I really didn't want to take it off. But I have this nagging feeling that the dress is just sorta...I dunno. Nice but not stunning on me. I know, I'm being stupid.

ETA: I wore the slip I got on ebay to see if it was the right fullness, and I also tried my jewelry and shoes!

I didn't even notice that!

Thanks everyone! I know it'll be a whole different experience when hair/makeup is done. I just keep thinking of that 'other' dress... I'm not 100% regretting it- I know that 'other' dress was just 'too much' for me. I'm meant to wear simple, comfortable things. I just don't want my dress to be boring.

I have to be completely honest here... I like the dress but from the pictures you had previously posted of the dress on the model, I thought it was a little on the too simple side.

BUT seeing it on you has totally changed my mind! It's really great on you and you can really see the details and it's very flattering on you. I love it!!!! I think you totally made the right choice!!!!!

OMG My heart sank at first! Whew, I'm glad you changed your mind!!

It is super simple...and I always knew I was meant for simple. But it's worrying me for some reason...

In a strange way, I wouldn't have minded someone to say, you know what Tara, it's not all that special. Look elsewhere. I don't mind honesty! part of me thinks, sheesh maybe I shoulda ordered that other dress!

But then when I think of myself in the other dress, I feel like a fool. I'm just not meant to wear a big, flashy gown. I feel silly in it. It makes me feel like I'm in a show...and I've done lots of shows and worn huge gowns and such. I guess being an actress all those years made me not wanna feel like I was wearing a costume for my big day!
