And I have to say the wedding was great BUT you could totally tell that she was not a LIW bride! No slipper baskets, bare feet all over the place!! No bathroom baskets. No Channa plaque. You get the idea....none of the LIW touches. Probably wouldn't have even noticed before this site! Even better was when my FH realized all the girls were walking around barefooted he said 'Now I see why you wanted the flip flop baskets...I never would have noticed before!'

Bathroom baskets are a must, regardless of LIW (though I'm not doing any of the other stuff) I'm shocked that those weren't there!

Thats cute that he realized and it is so true. I have picked up so many cute ideas for my wedding from this site its amazing. FH is still trying to figure out why we needed a channa plaque or chair sashes

I wasn't trying to say that you need to get any of the things I listed, or the many other items that many of the girls of LIW get. I hope I didn't offend anyone. I just chuckled when I started to notice this stuff, and laughed even more when my FH did.

There where no bare feet at our wedding. As I predicted people had their own slippers to change into. I did have a bathroom basket in the ladies room because I felt that was essential. Two years ago at a friends wedding my mom suffered a severe allergic reaction & thank goodness I had beynadryl in my bag, thats why I did the bathroom basket.
