So I went to National Floral Wholesalers and I am a little
disappointed. First of all, I called Monday to schedule the appointment for Friday night at 6:00-spoke to a man. Then I called today at around 2 to confirm my appointment with Anna. All was confirmed. I show up at ten to 6 and tell a woman (Anna) that I am there for my 6:00 appointment with Anna. She was confused, she didnt have any appointments for tonight because she is doing flowers for a wedding. She showed me her book, and my name was no where to be found....I was rushed, was not able to see any centerpieces or flowers that I would be using, and needless to say I'm worried to work with them.
Regardless, this is what i was quoted (in the brief amount of time I was there)
20 centerpeices (calla lillies 10 high, 10 low; glass vases must be brought back) 6 bridesmaids boKs (hand tied, white roses) 1 bride boK (mini callas, white roses, stephanotis) 2 Mom corsages 2 Dad corsages 1 Groom (3 stephanotis) 8 boutonnieres (white rose) 2 Grandmother corsages 2 Small Alter pieces 8 Pew bows 1 throw away boK.
My quote was $2000.00 plus tax. I feel weird about the whole appointment screw up, but regardless, is this a good estimate?
Edited for spelling...

Really? I had a feeling that it was a good quote, but Im scared that since they screwed up once, they might do it again!!!

The quote they gave you seems very fair. My centerpieces are also going to be callas but all high in tall glass as well, with a dozen and a half callas.
I would suggest getting a quote from Pedestals...they were very fair with us as well.

Did you schedule an appointment to go back? I would give them a second chance, they are probably super busy on fridays. However I am using them so I'm biased.
Maybe you can ask to see a sample CP as well. There are a few girls on here who have had sample CPS done and came out amazing.

I'm a National Floral bride, so hopefully I'm not giving a bias opinion. My appt was fine, and my sample CP was fine - no screw up's there. I understand their disposition as well as yours. It was a mistake - I'd take it at that. Once you book w/them (fully refundable deposit) they'll make a sample CP for you. When you go to look at the sample CP, Anna will sit down once again and go over your quote line for line in full details...you can add/subtract, etc...and the price will stay mostly likely the same - unless you're addng something major. Good Luck!

Sounds like that is a great quote!! I woul call them again and schedule another appointment and take the time to sit with Anna before you make any decisions. The quote sounds reasonable, so I think it is worth it
