So I went to Royalty Limos tonight..... (kinda long)

and can I tell u I was NOT impressed!!!

Here is MY experience:

I walked in w/FH and Manny greeted us and I greeted him by his name b/c I have seen him at different showcases.

Manny then took us to his 'office' and started asking us questions about our day. Manny wrote all our info on what I later found out was an ACTUAL contract. and not a quote sheet.

After taking our specifics I asked to see the cars- and Manny lead us outside and said that he was going to get the keys to 'light' up the inside of the car we looking at. Can I tell u I am STILL waiting for him to get the keys as I sit here HOME at MY computer.

Fh and I walked around their garage for 20 mins and NOT once did her come out and showed us around.

Here the rest of the story:
From outside FH and I had already decided that we were NOT impressed with the customer service and most importantly the cars- so we went inside to 'humor' him and get a quote anyway.

Funny how Fh said we should just leave out the garage door and not say anything to Manny!!

WE went inside and Manny proceeded to give us a 'quote' and then said your deposit will be $XXX!!

WHO said we were booking with you!!

See I feel that Royalty's head has grown because of their popularity and he was being VERY presumptuous in thinking that everybody who comes in their will book.

Here is what really did it for us and made us know that we not be booking with them....

Fh said well- since this is out 1st Limo company we would like to shop around some more.... u should have seen his face turn ... 'well we are the biggest and recommended by so many RHs and blah blah and that the quote was ONLY for today....... so why is it when we were leaving he said, ' we will hold your quote for 30 days'.

Sounds like a game to me....

Unfortunately they are NOT for me!!!

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Royalty. We did too We made an appointment and yet, they did not honor that and made us wait for nearly an hour and then, he was rather turned off when I said that I only want QUOTE...for a DROP OFF/PICKUP.

Anyway, have you called Joe at Camelot ? We went with him after seeing the nice & newer fleets that they have and the good service we got.

he did the same thing to us and for being SO damn push and cocky.. we didn't book him.
It turned me off. BIGTIME. I would rather pay more for a limo company than deal with a vendor that i dont like.

Im not a 2007 bride, but I had a bad experience when we went to their showroom with Manny also. We stood there in that tiny room while he continued to talk to and joke around with one of his workers without once saying 'Ill be right with you'. I mean, the office is so small we were literally standing two feet away from the man and he didnt even acknowledge us. It was extremely rude,..it felt like he was doing it on purpose because it went on for awhile and was soooo rude. Then the prices were higher than other places and at least two people I know were not happy with their service on their wedding day. I am always so confused when people say they had a good experience with them!!

I am too... He seemed SO unprofessional while trying to 'sell' what makes me feel secure that they will act professionally on my wedding day?

I am sorry you girls had all these problems... I went right in with no appt and they helped me like crazy!

Thats kind of weird... Good luck finding another limo place... you need to be comfortable with who you book thats all the matters

We had an awful time with them as well.. they wouldn't tell me a discount unless I was giving them a 30% deposit..

We went with All Star.. we spent a little more than we wanted to, but the service was fantastic, the cars were immaculate, and we got everything that we wanted.. I would check them out..

yeah, i wasnt to impressed either.

both of my sisters used them and they were good in the sense ....showing up on time and taking care what needed to be done, but when i went looking.....i did not really care for the guy i spoke with. he seemed very uninterested in helping us???/ and he was the nose picker!!!

Unfortunately Royalty was the only limo company we met with when we booked them at an expo (FH's decision- cars were up to him!). Our friends used them for a wedding in July.....I think the car was a few years old, but it was clean and they were on time- which to me is the most important thing.

We got a really good deal on the price......I just hope I'm not unhappy with them on our wedding day!!

That really stinks I'm going to AllStar for limo's tonight but thanks for saving me a trip to go see 'Manny'. Sorry that happened. Check out Allstar I heard such great things about them. Good Luck!
