So I went to Royalty Limos tonight..... (kinda long)

and can I tell u I was NOT impressed!!!

Here is MY experience:

I walked in w/FH and Manny greeted us and I greeted him by his name b/c I have seen him at different showcases.

Manny then took us to his 'office' and started asking us questions about our day. Manny wrote all our info on what I later found out was an ACTUAL contract. and not a quote sheet.

After taking our specifics I asked to see the cars- and Manny lead us outside and said that he was going to get the keys to 'light' up the inside of the car we looking at. Can I tell u I am STILL waiting for him to get the keys as I sit here HOME at MY computer.

Fh and I walked around their garage for 20 mins and NOT once did her come out and showed us around.

Here the rest of the story:
From outside FH and I had already decided that we were NOT impressed with the customer service and most importantly the cars- so we went inside to 'humor' him and get a quote anyway.

Funny how Fh said we should just leave out the garage door and not say anything to Manny!!

WE went inside and Manny proceeded to give us a 'quote' and then said your deposit will be $XXX!!

WHO said we were booking with you!!

See I feel that Royalty's head has grown because of their popularity and he was being VERY presumptuous in thinking that everybody who comes in their will book.

Here is what really did it for us and made us know that we not be booking with them....

Fh said well- since this is out 1st Limo company we would like to shop around some more.... u should have seen his face turn ... 'well we are the biggest and recommended by so many RHs and blah blah and that the quote was ONLY for today....... so why is it when we were leaving he said, ' we will hold your quote for 30 days'.

Sounds like a game to me....

Unfortunately they are NOT for me!!!

Anyway, have you called Joe at Camelot ? We went with him after seeing the nice & newer fleets that they have and the good service we got.

Same here!! I'm sorry you had such a bad experience as well. Definitely call Camelot. GREAT customer service!

camelot just called me last night asking if i booked my limos.....how are they???

So far they have been great!! Joe is awesome!! Their cars are beautiful and in great condition and the customer service has been unbelievable. We booked them on the spot. And they are very accomodating! I would definitely check them out!!

My sister went to them and had a horrible experience so I never bothered to go and meet them. After this thread I am really not going to meet with them.

I considered Royalty at one point.. then I called to make an appt. the lady who answers is so nasty, rude & abrupt! Apparently Manny was not in when I called both times and both times she said 'call back tomorrow Manny is not here' click
I'm W T F! is it that hard for her to take my name & number so that he can call me back so that he doesn't lose a customer... well after the 2nd call and she did that I said F that... I'm going elsewhere... and I end up Camelot Speciality Limos and I couldn't have been any happier with the package i got.. check them out.. and all of their cars are up to date..HTH

Cee,lets just say I am not surprised. My BM warned me about them as well as a few other people.

I guess you are not going to use my limo company U.S. Limos..

wow! that sux! we looked at them cause my FH really wanted an 'exotic' car like a BMW 754i limo or Cadillac 300. but we saw them at our hall's showcase last wk, and didn't like the cars. they also kind of had attitude like 'if you don't book right now, you're gonna get a bad deal.' cause they were offering a 20-25% discount if you booked THAT nite. um hello? you have like 2 cars here....you want me to book cars i can't see????

we weren't blown away by their customer service---which is why we went with Sir Oliver....check them out!

that was my experience with them, and even though the price was good ....we didn't book either!! totallly wasn't impressed with manny at all!!!!!!

wow, for some reason we did not have that experience-- luckily!! or else i would have def been turned off like you were! and thankfully he won't be the driver that day lol so i won't have to deal with him ever again on the off-chance that he might be the way a lot of the girls on here say he is sometimes-- i'm glad i caught him on a good night b/c we really like the specialty car that we got-- and could not find at other places. maybe vinny's the one w/ all the luck b/c i'm not lucky lol it must be him!

so sorry that happened to you-- but you know what? out of all the vendors for that to happen with-- limos are the best one b/c there is so much competition out there and so many companies to choose from that you will surely find the right one!!! good luck!

ughhh that s ucks! We booked Royalty, not with Manny though... we got really good service and some sick cars... I guess everyone has their on and off days.. Best of luck with your new vendors!!

I can relate, even thou we did book them, I hear so many brides say how wonder manny is , when we went I expected to be blown away , I wasnt, but they had a car that no other limo compnay seems to have that FH wants, so as long as they are dependable , ill deal with it.. !!!!

I have heard a couple of complaints about them lately, which makes me not want to even go check them out, not sure if I will or not.

Check out Sir Oliver I have heard great reviews about them.

Wow, sorry you had such a bad experience, but thanks for the heads up. We were gonna check them out in a week or so, but now I will def check out Camelot and Sir Oliver as well.

i had a similar experiance FH thought Manny was cockyyyy but I still have an open mind.....b/c he will not be the limo driver but i have two more limo companies to see.
