I'm actually still kinda okay, I'm just not sure how I will be once I see people (some that I've worked with for over ten years) ...

Well, all in all, it was pretty painless. Some people had just found out this morning and were all pissed off that I was being let go (that made me feel good). Someone else made a phoen to call to a manager in our office (so still in LI) about a position that just opened up so we shall see ...

No tears, so at least that much was a relief.

That sucks Wendy... I kinda know how you feel about leaving coworkers since I just went through that. Hopefully you will find bigger and better things in the future!
