So I'm bad...

I was covering a teacher and noticed on his calendar that there's a 'surprise' engagement party for me and another teacher who got engaged last summer planned for this Friday.

First of all - almost a year later????

Second - I dont like being the center of attention. Do I have to fake a shocked look? I dont like work related embarrassment!

Aww I think thats so sweet of them!! I don't enjoy being the center of attention either, but take it for what its worth and have fun with it!! And yes, you def. have to act surprised!
