Im so scared about the fact that my whole face is swollen and that i cant get ahold of my dentist. My dentist in NY said to go, that they can give me a shot and hopefully get the infection down a bit....im so darn scared :(

I think that is a good choice! Infections in the face can be really dangerous if you leave it too long. I wish you the best of luck!

hey girls im back, laying in bed watching pirates. said to keep up the antibiotic, take some motrin and just hopefully it will hold off till i can get to the dentist...just stinks that its the holiday weekend so nooooo one is around! grrrrr

If you are really in pain, you can call an oral surgeon and they will treat you on a emergency basis. There is a group of oral surgeons on Broadway in Masspequa. Dr. Siegel and Cerrbone. They are fantastic! If you need more info FM me.
