so im in the man 'hating' phase...

so ever since my ex and i broke up..i was single for quite some time then started dating like crazzzy..and now im just hating men... i truly feel like every guy out there is just sucha 'dog' and i really feel like quality men r few and far between... it keeps happening where i like them and they dont like me or vice versa, or they r just lunatics or looking to get laid!!... now on top of that i work with ALL men..literally i m the only female in the office, and i wanna hit one of them...there is one bathroom at my job..and for some odd reason all of them congregate to chat in front of the bathroom door.. i cant even pee w/o feeling like men r lsitening to me.. ::SIGH::

someone who has been jaded or truly hurt in the past... give me hope and faith that yes there r truly sexy, strong, GOOD quality men out there... come on all u happy married women..convince me..please lol

When I think back to when I first met DH I was sooooo surprised that he wasn't playing any games. I was totally ready for it, but he was just so upfront about the way he felt and it was right just from the beginning.

There are some good guys out there, you just have to stop LOOKING for them Seriously, I've never found anything good when I was looking, it's when I wasn't looking that things happened!

I went through it too!!! And you know...just take it as it comes. When it's right, it comes to you. Not to sound corny, but for many nights before I went to sleep, I prayed and asked G-d to send me my soulmate, someone who wanted to be with me and wanted a future with me, my male best friend....and sure enough....

DH came into my life with a little help from my friends!

hey girls, thanks for the hugs and advice.. i know ur all right!!! i m def. done 'looking' for it... in fact i give men death stares half the time when i see them lol..cause they r all so jerky lol... i kno it will get better but its just really frustrating to constantly feel disappointed by pple:(

So much so that I would actually start verbal fights with guys who flirted with me - it was bad! I never wanted to deal with that again and swore off men for good! That worked for about a year until I met DH and he showed me that there are still some wonderful men out there, despite all the bad ones that we seem to find first!! With DH, it just happened, and I wasn't looking for it AT ALL In fact, I was more surprised when he told me that he really wanted us to have a serious relationship becuase at that point, I was just so used to the game-playing BS!!!

You are an awesome and wonderful person, even though I've never met you - it just comes through in every one of your posts here on LIW I'm a BIG beliver in the old adage of there's someone out there for everyone - the trick is finding them!!! You will get through this man-hating phase, trust me! I've been with my DH for SEVEN YEARS now, and I never thought it would happen to me, but it did! Stay strong and in the meantime, be your wonderful fabulous self - and before you know it, another wonderful and fabulous person will find you!!

I would looooove to set you up w/ FH's college roomie: but we're all out in Suffolk. His roomie is AWESOME - i love that guy! He's a real sweetheart, but loves to have fun too. Just don't ask him to dance...Lol jk.

He did, however, just start an internship at MSG that has him in the city everyday, and he's waiting to be called for the FDNY - his dad, uncle grandfather, (every male in his life- lol) were firemen in Queens.

Another one of FH's longtime friends is NYPD, precint 33 in Jamaica.

They're both NICE guys - good enough for Michi!!! I could work a little shorty magic here...
