I noticed we have a lot of mushroom fungi growing in our backyard; I'm assuming from all the rain!!!!!!!! Our garden is doing well!!!! We just planted another tomato plant in my Topsy Turvy planter!!!!! I thought if it works, I wouldn't have to go traipsing through yukky tomato vines, looking for tomatoes!!!! Mary MOB

We haven't even been able to get out and do the planting in our backyard yet with all the rain. It seems whenever its actually sunny and we could plant we have something going on. Its so frustrating.

We plant all kinds of stuff in the backyard around the pool. I have gerbers. Unfortunately its probably to late to plant my sunflowers this year. I don't even know what else we are going to plant. We usually get stuff to plant by now and we haven't even done that.

Do you plant veggies, or just flowers? We have green beans, peas, carrots, lettuce, sweet corn, strawberries, red beets, radishes, and tomatoes. We use to have peaches, sour cherries, and apples. I think we should plant some peaches again.Mary MOB

Mostly flowers, because its around the pool area. But I do have some tomato plants. This is at my mom's house.

At my new house I haven't planted a thing this year, we are still trying to rake up 3 years worth of leaves and fix a lawn that hasn't been touched in years. I am dying to plant there. But then again we have deer everywhere so its almost not worth the effort. They eat everything.

Bunnies eat a lot too!!! I asked DH what the one huge plant was, and he said it's green beans, one the bunnies didn't eat, then he put chickenwire around a few other green bean plants, and they're growing. But, I told him it might be a good idea, to enclose all the sides of the garden, and not just two!!!! The bunnies figured it out, hon!!!!! Mary MOB
