I'm so not crafty and honestly dont think I am not DIY-ing anything. I mean, maybe as it comes closer I will do labels for something or add ribbon to something, but overall I just am not very creative and lack patience.
I almost feel guilty spending and hiring people to do/create everything.

I would love to be crafty but I don't seem to really have it in me. I do plan on attempting to make my own table numbers and church programs.

I think if you won't enjoy it, then don't feel guilty about not having a DIY project. You are meant to enjoy your wedding planning and if you won't enjoy that, then who cares?
Don't feel guilty...maybe you'll become inspired to do something along the way anyway!

I am trying to do as much DIY as I can but I enjoy it! If you do not enjoy it then skip the DIY. You do ot want to dread doing things for your wedding!

As of right now I have no DIY ideas in mind. I have such a busy year this year so not sure if I will have any time to do stuff like that. I am crafty though and love detailed projects...

I have not done any DIY but since I'm still out of country I haven't really done any planning at all.
I figure this fall when I'm back on the East Coast I'll look to see where a DIY project may save money, but for right now, I don't think I can make anything that isn't worth the additional cost.

I want to do some DIY stuff but I'm not sure exactly what those projects will be just yet. I feel like a lot of the stuff that I want to DIY (menu's, ceremony programs, favors) i cant do yet because I'm still over a year away. I also want to be really careful because i heard that if your not careful you can end up spending extra money doing it yourself.

Thanks girls. I was just feeling like the only person who is not crafty on here. I have some desire to learn to be creative and love Michael's (gives me hives now to even walk through) but it's just not innate.

I'm not much for crafts either. I do plan on addressing invites myself with my pc. Also do some bling on my shoes which I am sooo nervous about. What if I F up and have to buy shoes again?! I will try to do programs myself as well and I think that's it.
I do think some DIY projects turn out to be just as expensive as having someone else do it.

I always been artsy growing up and enjoy doing them (even tho I usually go overboard and in too deep) but if I had no enjoyment with it I would soo not be doing as much as I am.
And for some reason I am really looking forward to hearing people say 'oo she did it herself' as they admire something at the wedding LOL
