So Ive been complaining a lot over the past few months about my dress...(pics!)
so i really am not in love with my dress. i bought it last feb and it came in in august and i was not pleased. ive been dress shopping and still didnt find another dress i love. the type of dress i really love and envisioned just doesnt look good on my body. so i went this past week, after losing 40lbs, and the dress does look a lot better. its massive on me and needs to be taken in a lot but its very flattering for my body. i hate how what looks best is not what i really wanted.
tell me what you think honestly.....dont say u like it if u dont lol u can be honest.

I think it's very flattering on you, but very plain (just my opinion). I get the feeling that you don't really like it. What style did you want?

I think it looks great on you, especially after they alter it to fit you. I thought you wanted something like that with the drop-waist?

I don't like the top... is it too big on you? it looks like it's too big. but disclaimer - i don't like sweetheart necklines in general so my opinion may be biased.

It's a pretty dress - once it's fitted to you properly, it'll look great!

I agree the top needs to be taken in and then it will look great. If you're happy with it don't drive yourself crazy. Its just a dress! But if you really think you could do better...maybe try Davids...they're not too expensive.

First off, Congratulations on losing 40lbs! I don't want to lie. I, honestly, am not a fan of this dress. I think a classic A-line would look great on you. But, that is just IMO. Go with what makes YOU feel good!

ITA ... i actually really like this dress, and i think it looks good on you (especially once it's fitted) ... but it's not about what i want, it's about what you want ... so if you really don't love it, don't force yourself to wear it.

yea the whole dress is too big. its more then 2 sizes biggers then what i wear right now.
wat i really wanted was a mermaid style because i dont like big poofy dresses. just not me. but they happen to be the most flattering on me. this is the mermaid dress i absolutely love.

Congratulations on losing 40lbs! I actually remember when you posted something similar a few months ago, where you said that you did not like the dress and let me say that the dress looks completely different on you now than it did before. I think that it flatters your shape and I like it.

Thanks girls!! If anything i might buy a dress to change into for the reception if i hit my goal and lose 100 lbs by the wedding.
