Do you think it is a good idea to send ur invite on a dvd? Or would you rather do the traditional paper thing?

definetly Paper for us.

A few of my older aunts and uncles don't even have dvd players lol

and paper will be easier to get to italy in my opinion!

I love the idea of it and only you and FH know your guests but i agree w/ the other brides, technology and some older people dont get a long.

I know my mom would have a heart attack if i told her i wasnt doing paper invitations.

But that might not be an issue for you and your guest list. I do think its a really fun idea though!!!

That's different! I would definitely want to see one. But I would stick with paper for us.
Even though we are becoming more electronically dependent. . .i still like hardcopies!

I think its definitely a new and fun idea....but should definitely consider the guest list before choosing. If you have a lot of 'older' family members, than its obviously not a good choice but for a newer modern wedding, I think its a great option. DVD seems like it would be more personalized. Whats the price difference between the dvd and paper?

i actually just received one 2 days ago. It was so weird, I've never seen a STD like this. It was just a bunch of pictures from their e-session, and the end was a picture of the STD.. It was around 2 minutes long. Personally, I like traditional things when it comes to weddings, so I would never do it

I think it's cute and different, but coming from a guest's perspective I'd probably wind up throwing it in the mail pile, never getting around to watching it, and calling someone else I know is invited to ask for the info.

ITA! Even my cousins that are in their late 40s don't necessarily have DVD players or computers (or e-mail for that matter). So that wouldn't work for my family, but it depends on how tech-savvy your family is I guess.
