Okay first off I was so totally scared but my parents hit it off with FH's mom and step dad!
The conversation flowed right from the beginning. There was never a dull awkward silence...I mean FMIL did a few things to embarass herself...and FH was annoyed at some of the things that happened but everyone else was fine with it.
The wine allowed me to be nice and relaxed.
FH goes after the meal is over and we are on the way home, 'SO now we can definitely get married!!! They get along! LET GET MARRIED!'
in his dorky cute voice! i love him...and thanks girls for dealing with my psycho anxiety! It went great!
ps La Palina's in Bklyn has great food!

That's so nice to hear! I remember when we were all trying to help you find an Italian restaurant for the big meeting, and you were a little worried about how it would go - I'm so glad it went so well!

His real dad lives like 5 hours away and his mom and step dad are in Jersey...i mean i didnt feel there was a need for them to meet until we got engaged you know?
