wow, i can't even believe it says that!! i thought my day would never come... now, i am just hours away and in utter disbelief.
i came on early this morning and typed out my goodbye, but the darn computer logged me out in the middle of it, and i lost it all![]()
it's better now... our rehearsal is done, and i am nice and relaxed. well, except for my stomach which has been in knots the last 2 days.
i had quite a bridezilla moment yesterday, when FFIL told me the shirts they got with the tuxes were white, not ivory. it all worked out... but not without a nervous breakdown, lol. my BM complimented me today though, on how composed i was that one of the GM showed up 45 minutes late to the church rehearsal. but, again, it all worked out. the church rehearsal went smoothly, though FH and i didn't know our right hands from our left, lol - and the dinner was great. all the BM and GM met for the first time and all seemed to mesh well. there are a few pics in my album already, check them out!!
so, now my time has come...
i know that i haven't been a member of this site for very long, but i want to thank each and every one of you, from the bottom of my heart. for making me feel welcome, for ALL of your kind words, support, advice and laughs. this site is truly the greatest thing that could ever assist in wedding planning. everyone is so caring, it's like a family - and it's really what every girl could use at one of the best, yet most stressful times in her life. i only wish i had known about this site sooner, but i am truly glad to have been a part of it... and trust me, i'm not going anywhere... i'll still be on all the time, lol
i have to especially thank all of you for listening to me complain about family drama and even more so, my makeup and hair ordeals, lol - i'm still keeping my fingers crossed with the makeup!
i know i haven't developed the friendships that some of you have, here... but i do want to say a few thank you's...
to sarahradio5, who always made me feel like i wasn't alone, when there was drama to be had
to ewickens, for always having the kindest words towards everyone
to kittythestray, who helped me decide to go with hair extensions... a fabulous decision i think i am making!
to cjb88, for everything you made and helped me with... i hope i wasn't too much of a pain! and i loved our chats when i came to get the stuff; you're the sweetest!
to landsend06, for always being there to chat; we'll definitely have that get together when everything calms down for us both!!
and last but certainly not least... to sandypants or whatever the heck your name is for countless laughs at your expense![]()
i know i could never name everyone who has helped me or made me smile... but you all have. please know that. tomorrow would not be quite what it's going to, without each and every one of you, to have gone through this process with.
to all the girls who got married or are getting married this weekend, best wishes to you all!!
tomorrow's going to be a beautiful day... and i CANNOT WAIT!! the next time i post, i will be 'mrs kelly', not 'almostmrskelly'!!!
