I love them! I have a pink one--not surprisingly--that I like to wear. Though I started to worry when they began to use them on soap operas to hide the fact that certain actresses were pregnant. It was still obvious so I'm just hoping I don't look knocked up or anything

I'm gonna make myself one... if it doesn't look good on me, i'll sell it on ebay. I just hate acrylic (which most of them are made out of) so I'm making a soft wool one.

I bought one this summer. It looks super cute with jeans. At first they seemed a little weird, but know they grew on me and I really like them.

i don't like them and i think i'm too short to pull it off....my question is this..are they approrpriate for work??? in a business casual setting, meaning khakis and the like...

I didn't like them at first... but I got one for free at NY & CO this weekend and absolutly loved it! It's so comfortable!

My mom and I were shopping last weekend and she saw one and started to laugh. She goes 'these were ugly in the 70s and they are ugly now!!'

I didn't even realize they were retro.

I totally can't pull it off, but I think if I could I probably would try it.

I agree..I have one that I thought I'd like,,,it's a little to 80s Madonna (little too short, looked cute with capris and a hat- but little to trendy for me, wore once). I do like the knitted ones. But since I'm tall, I need a longer one

80's Madonna??? You've got the wrong era...poncho's are 70's...

PS I am completely dating myself because I used to wear these when I was young.

That's the one I have and LOVE IT! I got it in black. I do wear it to work, with black pants and a sleeveless colored shell underneath and black sandals

ETA: I just wear my bag over it...
