someone broke my car window (completely shattered), stole my cd player, which I might add only cost me about $50 or so, they took some cds, completely destroyed the paneling or whatever it's called and just left the screws all over the floor and the wires hanging out!!!!
I found my ashtray on the ground, like they just threw it out and they even took a small cushion I always sit on since I am so small.

If it weren't for my neighbor who was walking his dogs at 6:30 this morning, I would have never found out until I was ready to go to work. It cost me $200 and I didn't even go to work!!!! What a bunch of low-lives I swear!!!!!!!! ohhhhhh!!! if I only had those punks in front of me!!!! and ofcourse everyone knows these cases hardly ever get solved!!!! Now I am so scared to put anything in it, but I need a radio!! anyways, thanks for letting me vent!

I'm so sorry. It is so frustrating that these punks never get caught. Someone threw a pumpkin through my FH's window last Halloween and it was horrible.

That heavens you still have the car.

Insurance should take care of replacing the radio & window and repair the dash and console.

thanks ladies, the sad part about it is that I have an old-*** car!!!!! I mean it's a 93 but compared to all the other cars parked outside, hellooooooooooooooo!!! why mine? I guess they were to scared to get into the fancy looking ones because of the alarm. Another thing is that this is pretty much a safe block. We live in a co-op so my car was parked on the street. Stuff like this really never happens. It is usually very calm and all you see if kids walking after school and people walking their dogs all the time. But I guess it just isn't safe anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!! what a shame

The same thing happened to my Fi when his truck was parked in his driveway. But he had tools in the truck that were stolen too.

I am so sorry to hear that, I know how it feels. I had my car broken into a few times over the years, you really feel violated!

I know how you feel, last Halloween, kids were playing by the bike path in Massapequa park, and were shooting rocks out of guns with co2 cartridges, and as I was driving shattered my whole drivers side window, I was scared, but so dang mad!!! Good Luck

Was it an aftermarket radio? or was it a Facotry radio? You can get an aftermarket radio with a detachable face to replace your stolen radio, and remember to take the face off and take it with you where ever you go. This way if a thief breaks in they will not take your radio, because it will be useless to the theif. If you need a radio, I know a few places you can get one inexpensively.

that used to happen to me all the time and finally we left all the doors unlocked and nothing inside the car. we figured, you can go and take a look - you won't find anything - but at least the windows were not broken! they weren't looking to steal my car, just whatever was inside. it was an ongoing thing.
