WOW that seems crazy!!!! BUT if i were you i think i would let the people paying decide who needs to be cut. you shouldn`t be stressing too much at this point about this! i know i handed over a list and them just let it go, my shower was last weekend and i had a blast! didn`t even think about who was or was not there!

I'd just hate to walk into a room of 70 ppl and have strangers there when I could have had ppl there that I see every day! PLUS, do you really think these random girls whom I have never met would even WANT to come? I know if I were invited to their shower I sure as hell woudlnt go.

Personally - if your FMIL is gonna play that game - have her cut her whole family then.

Wow - that is AMAZINGLY passive aggressive! But you know what - if you her original list and addresses already, just invite those people and no longer discuss it with her - she can't add and she can't cut!
