so mad right now!

so I sent out my STD's last week. the only 2 ppl to let me know they received is my cousin and FH'd friend.
not one word from anyone else. I understand that ppl that arent that close not to call and mention something, but I totally expected that my aunts and other close family to call and say that they received. oh and did I mention that they never call me and when I do call them, they start off the convo by asking me why they havent seen me or why I dont call so much?
so now I talk to my mom, who just received the STD (my parents live in Israel) and I said that no one has called or said anything about STD's. so my mom tells me that my ENTIRE family called her to tell her they received them and how pretty they are
what??? I didnt know that my mom was the one designing my STD's and planning my wedding!!!
I guess its easier to call Israel than to make a local NY call

people do weird things sometimes. don't let it bother you though! I'm sure everyone got theirs ok too!

dont feel bad. i didnt get any phone calls either.
one of bm didnt even call. i had to call her to make sure she got it.

and what hurt me wasnt that they didnt call me, was that they called my mom - they know that I am the one doing everything b/c my parents live in another country. just expected them to call me this one time

well i dont expect any family to call me. they will call my mom im sure. i do expect a few FB messages tho...but i guess we will see...first i gotta send them out

But the one that really pissed me off was one of my friends from college, who I was initially considering making a BM, didn't even acknowledge it. And when I asked if she got it (because I sent to her parents house and didn't realize she had moved, she never told me) and for her new address, she never answered but gave me her new address. But she never said whether or not she got it. THAT one pissed me off.

I dont know maybe its just me, whenver I got something I immediately called or emailed to say thanks.
I didnt expect ppl to start RSVPing to the STD's just that very very close family to call just once and say something
