So mad - update

So I ordered my STD's from Vistaprint. . .100 of them.

I get home from vacation, and the package is my mailbox (yay) but the top is like RIPPED OPEN. We only had 32 in there, no receipt or anything. I'm guessing the rest fell out.

FH went to the post office and told them that our package was delivered like that and they gave him a hard time. they told him that if it had been ripped they would have put it in a new envelope with a note, blah, blah.

They aren't going to do anything and I doubt Vistaprint will do anything - its not their fault that the PO ripped the package.

Now I think I'm going to have to pay for them again.

I'm so mad.

ETA: Vistaprint customer service is great. The guy I talked to (Adrienne) was very understanding and said that since it could have been how they packaged it, they would send me a whole new order of magnets for free. So, now I'll end up with 132 haha. Great company to work with, I would recommend to anyone!

Call Vistaprint and see what they can do. I've had packages ripped and the PO has put it into a bag or other envelop. Was the box left out in the open that someone from the street could have seen it and ripped it open?

I don't think so We were on vacation and my landlord took the mail in. It fit in the mailbox, it was a small package.

But even if someone did rip it open, what the heck would they do with my STD magnets lol? It just doesn't make sense, I'm just annoyed. I'll try calling vistaprint later on

AWWWW sorry to hear this. I would call them up and tell them what you think happened. I ordered mine the other day but I only ordered 10 bec I wanted to see what they looked like. Can I ask you how, I tried to center them perfectly, but is there a tool that does it for you?? I only ordered 10 bec I wanted to see how they will come out

I stretched out the text box across the full span of the magnet, and then hit the center button for each text box. . do you know what I mean?

They aren't expensive, it just annoys me.

Yeah they are very cheap compared to others Ive seen. That is very annoying. Call them up and have them send the missing ones to you at no charge. I choose glossy for mine, how about you? Did they come out nice at least???

Yes, they came out nice. Looked exactly like they did on the computer. I'm not sure what I chose haha, it was the smaller ones, I have a cute leaf background, it was very simple.

It sounds like the post office is to blame. I cant see someone ripping them out of your mailbox and stealing some and putting them back.

The post office usually does put ripped things in another envelope, but whos to say they saw it and didnt do it. It sounds like it ripped and the things fell out of the box. JERKS!

I would try vistaprint and then the post office agian. They might not do anything but its definitely worth complaining to them about again.
