on giving a speech at the wedding...I already have 2 other people giving one and I am so afraid of what he will say...he tends to embarass me....should I let him do it or are the two enough??? If so how do i tell him no?

Personally I would let him do it. As much as he may 'embarass' you, you will most likely be surprised by what he has to say. Some of those speeches also that aren't all serious lighten the mood and give everyone a laugh. I think every wedding should have one...;o)
I'm not sure who is giving a speech at ours. Our Best Man gave a hard time about doing one at the EParty...

ditto. he may have something thoughtful to say!
my advice: make sure you get it out of the way BEFORE he's had a lot of drinks! that may cut down on the embarassment factor!

He's your brother Im sure there's no escaping it. He'll find a way to say what he wants to say, and if he realizes that you let the others do it and not him he might really embarrass you. I would just let him do it but be prepared for the embarrassing naked diarrhea story

Re: So my brother is insisting....
How about at the RD? After my FBIL&FSIL wedding last year, we decided to do ALL speeches at the RD. The speeches at their wedding went on for almost 45 minutes and thats 45 minutes of your wedding you'll never get back. Id personally rather be dancing and stuff than being roasted at the actual wedding, but its alll a matter of preference!

He's your brother and is probably wanting to honor you so let him. I'm sure he won't say too much to embarras you, but that's part of being a sister.

I would just let him.....We had so many people we wanted to give speeches at the engagement party...we let two do it for the toast..and then a couple do it right before we presented desert.
Its your brother...you mean the world to him. I'd just say let him...and tell everyone to keep the speeches to a minimun
