decided to put a $500 keg-o-rator on our registry.. he kept saying 'no one would buy it' and i wanted to take it off.... well we had our engagment party today and sure enough, three of his friends chipped in and got it for him!!! what the heck are we going to do with a keg-o-rator!

We had the same issue with an espresso machine. I was like NO WAY because neither of us drink coffee!! He said he's Italian so he'll need one some day. I told him that I would buy him one when he's 65 years old but he insisted. We figured it was too expensive so no one would buy it but then we got it for an engagement gift! It showed up at my mom's house and I freaked out. I told him that if it was from my side, it was going back. Then we saw his friend who sent it and his friend said that they were trying to choose between that and a Nintendo Wii and chose the espresso machine! UGH!

THEN due to some kind of confusion between me, my aunt, and my mom, my aunt thought that we didn't want the Wii so she bought us a Le Creuset tea pot and spatulas (that I really wanted but I REALLY WANT A Wii!!)! So that's 2 chances for a Wii right down the tubes!
